About Us

We Train Creatives is the training arm of Webber Design - a full service graphic design company established in 2005. Managing Director Rhys has been training creative software since shortly after he learned Adobe Photoshop 1 at University. By 1993 Rhys was training and teaching full time at City & Islington College in London - training students in Photoshop, QuarkXPress, Director and Freehand.

Through the nineties Rhys ran his own small company called XPressTrain, training creative professionals from publishing companies, design studios, film and tv companies in London, whilst also freelancing as a graphic designer. He later started training at the UKs biggest and best creative training company - Media Training in London. Over the years some applications have come, and others gone, but Rhys has taught them all including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightoom, Quark, Freehand, Flash, Pagemaker and Dreamweaver just to name the most popular ones.

Rhys became creative director of a big Soho studio in 1999 working on graphic design, short film, interactive design, pop videos and tv commercials.

After returning to Wales in 2004 Webber Design was born in 2005, and continues to be a busy design studio with clients including the NHS, Sainsburys, TATA Steel, Peacocks, Debenhams and many more. Webber Design have always had a training service, but We Train Creatives is the new brand.
